Curious about webcomics and what makes them so popular? This informational session introduces the world of webcomics - what they are, why people love them, and how to find and read them online. We’ll explore popular platforms, different genres and formats, and share recommendations for getting started. Whether you’re brand new to webcomics or looking for your next read, this program offers a welcoming overview of digital comics. If time allows, participants are invited to spend extra time reading a webcomic of their choosing.

Hello Williamstown, I'm Ava, a sort-of local. I moved here when I began high school, and I've been in this area off and on ever since. I'm currently in college, but thankfully will be graduating soon. When I'm here, I live with my two cats (they are siblings, but they look nothing alike) who have the cutest little faces that I obsess over frequently. They are the most friend-shaped and the littliest of guys. When I'm not inside with my cats, you may spot me walking on the bike path or around the neighborhood, adding the odd book to the existing Little Libraries. My favorite thing to add to these Little Libraries is the first volume of a web series, My New Friend is a Cat, turned into a physical book. This series fundamentally altered my brain chemistry when I first read it as a peculiar 14-year-old, and it has been my favorite fixation ever since. If you see a book or poster of My New Friend is a Cat in the Berkshires, it was probably me who put it there.
