Program Description
Event Details
We're now hosting a library discussion group covering all things sustainability-related! We'll read and discuss books and articles, covering topics like the animal world, tree and plant science, the plastic crisis, climate change, amazing natural phenomena, and other natural and environmental matters. Most reading material will be non-fiction, but occasionally cli-fi (climate fiction) will show up as well.
In February, we will read Nature's Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation that Starts in Your Yard, by Douglas Tallamy. The author, Douglas Tallamy, has agreed to meet us from 6:00 - 6:15 pm via Zoom! Please arrive at 5:30 so that we can chat about the book before we meet with Professor Tallamy.
You can request a copy of this book from the library, or download it on Hoopla if you'd rather get the Ebook or audiobook!
