Event Details

Support Our Pollinators! Learn about our local pollinators, featuring bees, bats, hummingbirds, beetles, dragonflies and and butterflies. These important critters help pollinate our orchards, back yard gardens, and our rain forests.

How do we build and maintain habitat to help our pollinators? What time of year should we mow our fields that is most beneficial to pollinators? What about all those dandelions that first appear in the Spring? To mow or not to mow! Learn about it, and more with this fun, educational program!

There is a wonderful tee shirt craft following the talk. T-shirts will be provided for all participants (thanks to Friends of the Milne Library for their generous programming support).
