Singer/Songwriter Bernice Lewis will talk about the structure of songs, and why it works. She deconstructs several well-known songs as well as her own work, analyzing components, story line, use of poetic devices, chord structure, melody, and talks about how contemporary song has evolved historically. She includes information for musicians, non-musicians, and would-be songwriters.
