Save Northern Berkshires Wildlife - Learn about Responsible Rodent Control

Educate and advocate for responsible rodent control in our community. Second Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides are increasingly used for pest control. Rodents live in a weakened state for days after ingesting these. When wildlife prey on these rodents, SGARs build up in the raptors, owls, and mammals’ systems resulting in their death. Additionally pets ingesting these rodents baits directly immediately enter an emergent state and frequently die.

These are steps and solutions for successful rodent control that prevent harm. We are educating citizens and working to eliminate use of deadly poisons.
