Short-term rentals, such as Airbnbs, have taken off in Williamstown and elsewhere in the Berkshires in recent years, potentially contributing to the shortage of housing in the area. Responding to these concerns, the Planning Board will be proposing a Warrant Article at May's Town Meeting to discourage the full-time use of houses as short-term rentals. This is your opportunity to learn more about the Warrant Article and tell members of the Board what you think about the proposal.
