Program Description
Event Details
"Stop the Thud" is a bird collision monitoring project launched this past fall to collect data about bird collisions into Williams College buildings in order to identify challenging areas in need of bird-friendly interventions. Mike Evans, Deputy Director for Campus Sustainability at the Zilkha Center for the Environment will talk about the process, what he and the team have learned to-date, and about volunteer opportunities.
This event is one of numerous Flight Path programs, an initiative the library is participating in through the Spring. Be on the look out for more programs about birding, bird conservation and migration, and bird-related films and craft workshops!
